This really falls into the TMI category, but I feel compelled to write about it anyway.
Yesterday, I began having pain around 1pm and I really thought I was going to end up at Labor and Delivery. I had cramps that were right at my c-section scar. I curled up in the fetal position, and was in pain for a good hour. I got up, walked around a bit, and was OK. About an hour later, Anni felt like she was going to come flying out, literally. The pain was excruitiating.
I took it easy last night, after talking with the doc's office. General pregnancy discomfort, is what they were thinking. I never had this with Lex. My v is so swollen, it literaly looks like a football. Sexy, no? So this discomfort is not pre-term labor, thankfully. It's fluid retention THERE, combined with the ligaments loosening at my pelvic bones and prepping my body for the vaginal delivery I won't be having. Nothing I can do, really, except ice the area, lie down (sitting still puts too much pressure on the area) and deal with it as it happens. Today, it's better. But honestly, I would not want to be walking around work holding myself, LOL!
