We had great appointments today. First, we started off at the high risk office where they did an ultrasound to check on her growth. She's already 4 lbs 3 oz! Alexi was 4 lbs 6 oz at birth! No wonder I'm uncomfy! LOL
Her scan was fine. Said her femur was a little short, but come on, mom's only 5'2, so that's probably accurate. They checked her breathing, swallowing, etc and all was fine. Then, the doc upped the insulin AGAIN. I now have 3 shots a day. Meh. Blood pressure was good! Next was the non-stress test and she performed beautifully. Perfect movement and heart accelerations and no contractions. Lex would flunk these all the time.
Then headed over to Dr. Hahn's office-he'll be delivering Miss Anni. Another good appointment. I go back to see him in 2 weeks.
I see the high risk office twice a week. On Monday's for non-stress tests and on Thursday's for non-stress tests, ultrasounds and consults with the doctors. I'd say it's overkill, but I did it with Lex and even though things are going good, we are still extremely high risk. I'm happy to have the extra eyes on us.
