High Risk Update 3/27

Ed, Lex, and I went in to the High Risk docs today for the "big" ultrasound. They upped my insulin in the morning and evening. Blood pressure was OK.

It's another girl! And we can't decide on names either. LOL

She measured fine. The doc was having trouble finding her stomach in the right place, but they said not to worry yet. Just because we couldn't see it, doesn't mean it's not there. Sometimes ultrasounds are wrong, and it's still early combined with the fact that I'm heavy makes it harder to get a good picture. So in another month, we'll do another scan. It's hard not to worry and speculate. I told the doctor I'm a worrier and needed to know more. He said he can't predict what it could be, but assured me that termination wouldn't be necessary. Surgery, maybe. But these are all what-ifs at this point. He said he wasn't worried, and we shouldn't be either.

So, there it is. Will try not to worry for the next month...
