Went to see my OB. I have a c-section date of 8/13/09. So that's the latest she'll be here. : ) My weight is up 8 pounds since February, which is great he said. I was worried it was too much (since I'm heavier) but he said no problemo.
My insulin was upped again. My levels are slightly elevated, so I'm not worrying about having a 10 pound baby at this point. I know my appetite has increased as my insulin has increased.
He said I could try for a vbac if I wanted, but I'm opting for a repeat. At least I know what to expect with it.
Waiting for the MFM group to schedule an echocardiogram for the baby with pediactrics at Children's Hospital. It's standard for any woman who has gestational diabetes or type 2 diabetes at the beginning of a pregnancy. I know that the last ultrasound she looked fine, but I understand. Always better to have a second set of eyes.
