The fertility doc's office called me around 9am this morning. My first beta hcg was at 19. This could mean one of two things: that I ovulated later and implantated later than we originally thought, *or* my numbers were higher and now dropping, which could mean an impending miscarriage.
Really, you can't base anything off of the beta hcg # without having a second # to compare it to. Every other day, the beta hcg # should at least double. I am scheduled to re-draw more blood on Saturday morning.
My progesterone level was also at 6.2. This is very low and not enough to sustain a healthy pregnancy. They immediately put me on Prometrium, a form of progesterone, twice a day.
Took another test today, a digital, and still positive. I doubt these numbers are declining. I think timing was later than expected.
As for symptoms, heartburn, indigestion, little sleepy, but feeling good. Best thing? Lack of period-like cramps and no spotting. : )
