We have a heartbeat!
Baby measured right on target. Heartbeat was "blinking" along like it should. All is good. We have officially transferred our care to the regular OB, although I can't get in until the 13th.
It's more real now. Seeing the baby, seeing the heartbeat, I'm just in shock. I'll try to scan our ultrasound pictures and load later.
It's early yet, so I'm not going to have real symptoms. I can say that I have waves of tiredness, I'm craving red meat like nobody's business, and nausea on an empty stomach. Let's knock on wood that that nausea stays away!

You know, when I got Ruby's first u/s the tech freaked me out by mentioning that her rate was low. Man, not the thing to say to an obsessive pregnant woman. I spent the next week until the follow up appointment researching low heart beat rates. The next week turned out fine. Hope they didn't give you any news to obsess over!
